As a cyclist on tour, I want the same area to be in view on my phone that I viewed last time so that I can quickly continue whatever I was doing on the map last time.
This is basically how Osmand works.
Alternatively, we could, like iOverlander, zoom to the user's current location when the app is opened.
Either way is better than the current approach of always starting out with a map of the whole world.
