Hi @gwaybio - I just wanted to double check on this: does this still need attention from a Pycytominer standpoint? I noticed https://github.com/broadinstitute/cell-health/issues/17 was closed an had a comment as about deciding not to pursue.

We once had a crude implementation, but decided to remove it from the repo in #185 commit https://github.com/cytomining/pycytominer/pull/185/commits/60d0e2ec9099888fda7ef74e35f4ea9c9de5cba8

We should, however, definitely remove it from the documentation! (it somehow still is in there https://github.com/cytomining/pycytominer/blob/master/docs/pycytominer.operations.rst#pycytomineroperationssparse_random_projection-module)
