I had talked to Jeremy Moody some years back about integrating a high-level version of his Brickworld workshop on using GIMP to design mosaics. Somehow, this still hasn't gotten done yet.

Beyond Jeremy's directions, there are probably other specialized projects for mosaics worth mentioning too. I'll close this issue once adding details on using GIMP for designing LEGO mosaics has been done.
