Segment tracking starting late #7

Setting Zurich, Switzerland, Android

geofence: 1 do_not_track: 0 wifi_over_gps: 1 data_over_wifi_only: 0

Issue Tracking from workplace starting late (red line is missing) / long no Data segments when idle.

Hi Thomas. That is definitely a geofence problem. Geofence is something which is (unfortunately) cropping your data (sometimes more, sometimes less) unless you open the app right before you leave. I have that same problem too.

If you want precise data, I recommend to not use this setting option for now. We wanted to offer this option nevertheless as it basically brings the battery drain down to almost zero.

Ok, unfortunately my phone barely gets thorugh a whole day without the option turned on... Same thing here I guess: Missed out on the train part of my route (Wiedikon -> Oerlikon at 11.19pm). Slowly getting to know how it works :)

Try this:

geofence: 0 do_not_track: 0 wifi_over_gps: 1 data_over_wifi_only: 1

Thanks - as I have be noticing a few false classifications and mixed up segments (mainly public transport/trains): Machine Learning is based on Posmo Segments or Posmo One data? So using posmo segments would allow me to adapt the specific segments, if they're wrong?

The idea is: you find some segment that was wrongly detected in the past (e.g. train trip). But you will do this segment again.

Now you can record this particular segment from start to end with Posmo Segments while also using Posmo One at the same time. You then save your Posmo Segment so that it is available on the web.

We will soon offer a "reprocess button" in the web view of Posmo One at https://posmo.datamap.io. The reprocess will then fetch the saved data from your Posmo Segments account and intersect / overlay it over this day in Posmo One.
