We assume that a person's email is their KTH ID followed by @kth.se this is true for almost everyone, but at least one exception exists. KTH:s ldap does not seem to allow filtering users by email, but if the user already exists in the database/cache we can search for them there. This should be done if we could not find them by their KTH ID.
