Comparison Tool User Story - Update Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits Levels (Section 105) #489

Update Benefit Levels and remove 40%

Value Statement: As a system owner, I need the system to apply the 50% benefit level amount and above for qualifying periods of service when displaying Chapter 33 Post 9/11 Award MHA amounts, so that the correct payments are displayed.

Assumptions:

  1. The 40% benefit level will be removed on or after 08/01/2019

Acceptance Criteria:

  1. The 50% benefit level will be applied when the aggregate qualifying periods of service is 90 days, but less than 6 months
  2. The 60% benefit level will be applied when the aggregate qualifying periods of service is 6 months, but less than 18 months.
  3. The 70% and above benefit level calculations will not be affected by Section 105 Session.
