[Feature Request] Infravision #103

In my mind, works on light perception principals (IR is a form of light) so wont work through walls, but if something is out past your darkvision range of say 60 feet, and you have infra to 120, you would see a red or purple/red/yellow glowing outline for the creature past your darkvision or natural lightsources.

Just looking to give my narbondle loving drow something to look forward too ;)

I'm not sure I understand the exact conditions under with a token is visible.

Sorry for the delay. here is an example of how it could look. In this example, the actor has 60ft Darkvision, and 120Ft Infravision. In the absence of light, infravision would take over and show (living?) creatures.

Regarding its place in 5e, while not a defined vision type, the fact that out of the abyss described Narbondle in Menzobarranzan as a thermal clock, it implies that Infravision is a thing even in 5e.

A stretch I know, but it would be a very cool option to have. Even if you deem it as not having a place in this module, I appreciate you having taken the time to respond!

Is there a reason you don't use Blindsight for Infravision?

If the actor is blinded, infravision shouldn't function. It relies on sight .
