To do this we need to create a new Dicty Stock Center reference. I suggest something like this:
dictyBase (2009-) ‘Dicty Stock Center phenotype annotation
In case the date could automatically update, then dictyBase (2009-2014) ... would be great (if the 2014 will automatically update to 2015 next year)
This will also allow us to add annotations when we test strains in the Stock Center, like this strain we just tested that has a different phenotype under different conditions.
We mapped all of the legacy ‘Jakob’ annotations to our phenotype ontology and also added notes that should go into the notes field of the pheno annotation. Yogesh added this file to GitHub: https://github.com/dictyBase/migration-data/blob/master/strain/DSC_phenotypes_orig.tsv
