1) If a NEW strain gets an associated inventory, it get’s a ‘release button’. This would distinguish from strains we add through curation for phenotype annotation that don’t get an inventory and are public right away. This would need to integrate strain annotation and inventory further, so the difference can easily be made.
2) All inventories get a ‘release’ button. This is for cases where a strain record might already exists, but the researcher doesn’t want to make public that they sent it to the DSC yet.
If it's easier to implement, simply all strain records and all inventories need to be made public with a separate click.
