9b5ddcd8b17c3e8849fef1a16ff2fe2a55268b2d killed the ability to use \fragment{1}{x + y} in mathjax sections, since the approach in https://github.com/hakimel/reveal.js/issues/1365#issue-107518558 depended on render-time hooks. Figure out if the same kind of thing can work in mathjax-node, or another version if not.
