In 6E1, the skill Animal Handling is listed as 2 points for the first group, 2 points for each +1 above the base skill, and 1 point for each additional group. HD agrees with the book and implements it in this way.
After the HD file is loaded into Foundry, the game module calculates the cost of that skill as 2 points for every group, meaning one of the characters in my game has a 10-point discrepancy. (Animals are kind of her thing.)
It doesn't affect play as far as I can tell, but it does monkey with the apparent active cost of the character's abilities, and that's a thing. Just not a game-breakingly serious one.
