This is rather gross. In 6e the ADDITIONALED and ADDITIONALPD adder levels have to be added together and then as a sum evaluated against the cost of 3 for 1 and 5 for 2. There's no pretty way to handle it in calcBasePointsPlusAdders.

Additionally, in 6e, rMD (for mental entangles) is always 3 points for each level which gives 2 rMD. And Hero Designer doesn't have a separate adder for rMD so people have to hack in ED and PD levels as MD levels.

As an additional note 5e is fine as it's just 5 for +1 DEF.
