Hi Yuan,
PhEDEx does not get the SE name from SiteDB, it maintains its own internal table. This is probably a hangover from the days before SiteDB, and could be fixed, but since SE names change so rarely, I'm not too inclined to bother. Ops should shout (and raise a savannah feature request) if they disagree.
Can you tell me what the correct SE name is please?
Cheers, Tony.

Hi Tony,
It just took us quite a while to realize about this. Somehow the old entry in PhEDEx is totally wrong. Our current SE name is ntugrid4.phys.ntu.edu.tw. Would it be possible to fix the DB entry in both analysis local DBS published within this year?
Thank you very much for the help.
Regards, Yuan CHAO

Hi,
I've updated PhEDEx, but for DBS you will have to contact Ops directly. I can't make any changes there, sorry.
So I close this ticket, and let you open a new one for that.
Cheers, Tony.
Original Savannah ticket 93828 reported by None on Thu Apr 19 01:34:33 2012.
We recently upgrade our T3 facilities and decommissioned some old hosts. However, phedex still listed the old nodes even after siteDB and GOCDB entries are changed. Even that the old CE head is listed as the SE host. Could you help us fix the problem? Some analysis local DBS entries would need to be fixed too.
Thanks a lot in advance.
