Original Savannah ticket 101029 reported by wildish on Wed Mar 27 09:40:49 2013.

Hello, I am not able to open subscription page for Phedex request ID 155726. I am trying to open it from the link 'Subscription Page' from following web page

https://cmsweb.cern.ch/phedex/prod/Request::View?request=155726&.submit=Submit

Our purpose is to delete the dataset from the above subscriptions.

Thanks, Manoj

Subscription page is also blank for phedex request IDs 165187, 167065. Let us know how should we proceed for deletion of datasets from these subscriptions.

Hi,

for request 155726, the problem is that it was also subscribed to T2_CH_CAF, which no longer exists. The old T2_CH_CAF has been renamed to XT2_CH_CAF, and the data-service rejects filters for nodes that do not match '^T<n>'.

It's not clear to me that we want to change the subscriptions page to handle this differently. We should be allowed to reject requests with invalid node-IDs. Probably the best thing to do is to fix it at the level of the Request::View page, so invalid nodes are excluded at the source.

In any case, the workaround for you is to follow the link, get the error message, then remove the ';node=501' part of the URL by hand. If it complains about another ID being invalid, remove that instead.

Try this URL, for example: https://cmsweb.cern.ch/phedex/prod/Data::Subscriptions?reqfilter=155726;node=24;node=56;node=53

I was able to submit request for deletion of data for the phedex request 155726. For phedex request 165187, 167065, the same workaround don't work.

Hi Manoj

it looks like those subscriptions have been deleted, indeed there is no trace of them. You can see all the exotica subscriptions to Purdue with this link:

https://cmsweb.cern.ch/phedex/prod/Data::Subscriptions#create_since=0;group=exotica;node=T2_US_Purdue;rows=2000

(be warned, it will take a fair amount of time to load and render!)

Since these requests correspond to only 5 GB of data, and from 2.5 years ago, are they important?

Cheers, Tony

P.S. please log in to savannah before submitting or updating tickets, so we have a clearer track of the history.

Hi Tony, We are cleaning the storage at site. Three days ago, I got these phedex request ID using the following command

curl -ks 'https://cmsweb.cern.ch/phedex/datasvc/json/prod/subscriptions?node=T2_US_Purdue&create_since=1262408399&group=exotica'

But, now it is not there. These requests are not important. You can close this ticket.
