11 months ago Another possibly better idea which doesn't involve players making any decision (which is preferable). Randomize teams after N consecutive wins of one team.
- Does it make sense to ignore consecutive wins of the smaller team? Completely undecided here.
- Alternatively pluck a random player from larger team into smaller. Far simpler implementation than randomizing all players.
- When teams are equal size than swap two random players between teams.
Something like a corner tip "Press
<Interact>to switch team" which is shown to people in a larger team (ability to switch team only active when tip is shown). This would help the situation when a person in a larger team recognizes skill imbalance and wants to switch to smaller opposite team to fix it / help them. On the other hand it might allow for abuse when people who know each other try to keep being in the same team to dominate. Perhaps only show this tip when larger team wins N times in a row.
