This first issue reiterates the core mission of the Data Privacy Vocabulary (DPV) to provide the necessary terms to represent 'processing' of personal data. This involves:

which personal data categories
for what purpose
undergoing what kinds of processing
by who/which data controller
involving who/which recipients and their roles
justified using what legal basis
implemented using what/which technical and organisational measures
