City I/O

City I/O gives you a unique 3D view of the city ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.

Multiple data sources are used to create this 3D city.

• Postal Codes
• Noise Pollution Data
• Particulate Matter Data
• OpenStreetMap

Output

A unique 3D data visualization of the city ‘s-Hertogenbosch showing possible nuisances of different kind of emissions.

Technique

City I/O is fully build in JavaScript (server and client side) and uses some of the latest techniques for the web available:

• Meteor (NodeJS, MongoDB, NPM, Underscore)
• Meteorite
• Three.js (WebGL rendering)
• D3.js
• LESS (CSS Precompiler)
