Bootstrap library lost #231

All of my existing kalatheme-installations are with the same problem. The used bootstrap-library can no longer be found in the theme-setting. The rendering looks bad, is broken.

When I install kalatheme fresh on an test-site, I also didn't find any of the libraries. The same problem.

Bang from one Moment to the other.

It appears to me, like this problem appeared some time ago with the 3.0 release.

Hello

Can you tell us more about your setup. What version of JQuery you are running, can you send a screen shot of what it looks like. Also versions of panels, libraries and bootstrap you are using, etc.

Yes, sure: JQuery: various versions on different installations. 1.8, 1.7 Panels: 7.x-3.5 Libraries: 7.x-2.2 Bootstrap: 7.x-3.1

OK

Why are you using the bootstrap theme? Did you mean 7.x-3.1 is the Kalatheme version?

I do need the version of the Bootstrap libraries itself though. If you go into the sites/all/libraries and go into the bootstrap subtheme folder and select the unminified version of the css or js, it has the version at the top of the file.

We also have the same issue and our library folder is empty.

Well if sites/all/libraries is empty, then you wiped out the Bootstrap libraries some how. There is your problem.

I would do the following:

  1. Go grab a fresh copy of Bootstrap: http://getbootstrap.com/customize/
  2. Take that zip and put all 3 folders in sites/all/libraries/yourtheme_libraries
  3. Go get https://www.drupal.org/project/jquery_update and get the 7.x-3.0-alpha3 version
  4. Change the JQuery of the site to 1.10 for all themes and enable JQuery Migrate at the JQuery config page

This should fix your issue in the interim.

If upgraded dozens of sites on Kalatheme, but never had this issue. What version did you upgrade from to 3.1 so I can try and replicate.

Thanks for the help. The site was working fine as of yesterday and this morning we have the error posted in by the OP.

When we installed the theme, it works out of the box. We didn't have to do anything related to the library. kalatheme_get_bootswatch_themes() is failing today.

We have been using version 7.x-3.1 of the theme and jQuery 1.10.

I also have the problem on 2 sites, and they broke without either one being touched. I had a pretty basic install, using Cosmo for my theme, and now they are not working.

I notice the problem also today. Yesterday everything was working fine.

I remember a similar Problem with kalatheme some month ago. The 3.0 Version made a similar failure. I was searching for the patch of this days. To get an indicator. But I didn't found it.

Looks like the api endpoint for bootswatch has changed?

https://bootswatch.com/api/3.json exists while https://api.bootswatch.com/3/ does not

I also have the same issue as the poster. I also have 2 sites without being touched. Today they are not working and the behavior is the same as the poster.

Same thing here, yesterday it was fine. Today it went kaboom.

Thanks for the quick response here @labboy0276. This is the second time this year that bootswatch has changed their urls. We may need to look into a better solution.
