What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Work with Express and Node
• Started reading about Material UI

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Completing assignment with Express
• Time constraints with final exam and interviews

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Write dummy data
• Add material UI to journal page
• Make bullet component and action (task vs. note vs. event)
• Ponder about pagination and rendering pages

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Add material UI icons to overview and increase styling, match style to set file
• Set up component for search view/ results

What will I be working on in the next two weeks?

• Front end actions in search, expand to see full details, redirect to page, filter for status of each list item
• Learning how meteor client/server works, database set-up
• Create account dialog and how to pass data to server

Where you have gotten stuck during the last weeks?

• Styling, consistency in css, customizing material ui components

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Added navigation bar
• Added access control for pages that requires login
• Added redux store with the actions, action types, and reducers

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Figuring out how data is organized is harder than I thought, might need to recursively organize data into a tree structure or reconsider design
• Data flow within project: Went through some struggles in setting up the access control -> Did not want to set up connect(mapStateToProps) for every component just to get the user information, at the end decided to centralize that in App.jsx and also set up the props and actions to pass to children components

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Set up and link mongoDB database to project
• Ability to add entry (includes both front end and back end)
• Look into meteor user/accounts
