What 3 Words? (How to Find Us) #120

What 3 Words is a global positioning system using a unique combination of 3 english words.

Anyone unfamiliar with this idea, read:

Because the system is accurate to 3m2 there are quite a few combinations that can be used to for the #16 Palmers Road address ...

This is both good and bad: it gives us options but also potentially creates ambiguity if people associate the location with undesirable 3 words ...

Question: is there any Use Picking which 3 Words we want people to use when referring to the Space? Or do people think this idea will "not catch on" in London because we already have a decent address system?

Remember reading about this when it launched - genius idea!

How about learn.do.teach?

Even if it's not gonna catch on, you still wanna book your ideal name just in case

@rub1e I think the combination of words is already defined for 16, so I don't think you can choose your own words.

In London the postcodes are already quite precise but the system is a good alternative when you have to remember and find a location quickly
