Given that we want to get as many new members in QuietSpace as possible in the next few months,
and that we increasingly have "nice things" (monitors, printers, etc.) and the members often leave good laptops/accessories on their desks while they go out for lunch or walks in the park...
I think it's a prudent idea to have a Security Camera at the front door/entrance
in case people leave the door open and an an "opportunistic" scoundrel
dashes in and takes something of value... 💸
What are people's thoughts on having it set up at the entrance of QuietSpace?
If anyone has an issue with detecting/recording entry into the space,
please inform us here or privately to Inês/Mark.
The idea is to protect the belongings of members from theft.
We've not had a "break in" or anything disappear so far (touch wood)
but if anything "bad" did ever happen, having recorded evidence of forced or opportunistic entry
would make filing a police report or insurance claim much easier.
Note: I did some research on security cameras last year
and bought a Logitech Circle Security Camera because it had great reviews and simple setup.

The RRP is £159.99 but I got it on "Black Friday" for £68.99 (less than half price)
@sohilpandya did a test of it at the time and concluded quality and motion detection was good.
