Monitor Stands for clean desks at Focus Hub

Following on from the conversation that has taken place here in this issue

We'd also like to enforce a clean desk policy downstairs ( I am a big culprit of this one 😟), but if we had some sort of cable management in place as well as having boxes like in no. 14 (upstairs) where people can put their random bits in, we'd probably be closer to having a clean desk.

All cables are "fed through the tube so it keeps the desk(s) nice an tidy and there are a couple of USB ports in the base which allow mobile phone charging. The stands can easily be removed (might be a two person job tho) when we need to transform the downstairs space. but for the most part this will make it look very tidy. 👍

@sohilpandya (& anyone else interested in this...) What are your thoughts ordering One Stand and Two Monitors to test it out the idea ... Then we would (informally) track if the New Monitors on Gas Lift Stands get used ... If they get used often (like every day) then we can order moar as needed.

I just have this gut feeling that stands don't look good for some reason and have a slight reservation about it. 😟 We can certainly try the above by getting one to test out.

This photo is very close to my dream desk setup. 😍

• no monitor stands, just monitors that are height adjustable (we have iiyama Monitors that do this)
• monitors on a higher desk (would need to look at new desks)
• rest is optional, but it looks clean to me. 😮

Im a big believer in the less floor space (or in this case desk space) that is covered, the cleaner an area looks. So personally i think stands could be a good way to make the desks seem clearer

@sohilpandya there are no wires in that picture and typically wires are the worst offenders in making a workspace looking messy. The stand that @nelsonic is suggesting above contains all the wires in the 'stem' and ❤️ usb ports ❤️
