A few FocusHub members have all mentioned that the current "army green" chairs are not great for comfort/ergonomics. They are "FORUM" by Burgess Furniture (more preciscely model Forum 37/8) see: http://www.burgessfurniture.com/chairs/forum-37-8.html
They are "fixed" in every way (fixed position/tilt, not hight-adjustable, no lumbar support, etc.), a classic case of people buying a product for looks rather than function1
The question we have to ask is: how much do we want to investforEach chair...?
Note: we don't want to have several kinds of chairs to avoid the place looking like a charity shop.
When we decide on a chair we should get a fewidentical units.
Note: I think everyoneshould have the most ergonomic working environment possible, but it doesn't appear as though all of the current FH members are particularly bothered with the green chairs, so they probably won't expect to get new ones ... Something we need to test.
@katbow & @RobStallion if you can find a good chair you want to test and share a link to it as a comment this thread we can get one ordered to test ASAP. 👍
1The worst thing about the current chairs is: judging by the quality of the materials on the Forum chairs (galvanized steel tubing, real wood arm-rests and sued leather), I can guarantee they cost more than more ergonomic "office" chairs ... but that's a whole other discussion. 🤐

Criteria for an Ergonomic "Operator" Chair
Good "Operator" Chairs don't need to cost a lot of money. e.g: https://www.andrewsofficefurniture.com/madrid-operator-chair-black![image](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/194400/26519793/4740960c-42be-11e7-9afb-22bdc197eaa0.png)
Budget?
The question we have to ask is: how much do we want to invest
forEach
chair...?A @dwyl Investment / Asset?
if
we (@dwyl) invest in really good chairs, can we legitimately restrict them for @dwyl team? e.g: https://www.chairoffice.co.uk/prod/226/cobham-luxury-mesh-back-office-chair.aspx@katbow & @RobStallion if you can find a good chair you want to test and share a link to it as a comment this thread we can get one ordered to test ASAP. 👍
