Offering a Registered Office Service #97

We currently offer hot desk and fixed desk rental services

We also currently operate as a registered office for Label Print Services, despite the fact they are not a tenant.

Founder London have also asked us if we would like to offer a registered office service to them, including opening letters, taking photos of them and sending them to them. If we decline their offer they will move their registered office elsewhere to another service provider. An example of another one is companies made simple - they offer the service for ~£50.

If we decide to offer this service to Founder (in addition to LPS) then there is also scope to expand this offering to additional customers - should we do this?

@iteles tagging you in this as it is biz-dev / business plan related. I'm not sure if we want to offer something like this if we may be moving in 8 months.

@markwilliamfirth

The key thing for us to understand here is how long the various tasks would take in terms of time on a per month basis, including initial setup and a quick website amendment.

I suspect that it's not worth our while at the current rate we are paying people who work for us - also a waste of skills. But it might be worth it if we can find some students living in the area who want some very part time work cash and will pop in once a week and do what needs to be done.

If the service can support itself and make a contribution to fixed overheads, expanding it to other clients should a good as we'll mostly be dealing with marginal costs 👍
