Project 5: Antelope Phylogenetics #5

Open kipkurui opened 2 years ago

I choose this project as my second option because

  1. I would like to explore conservation biology
  2. I would like to apply and advance my phylogenetic skills
  3. Working on this project will give me an opportunity to put into practice the theory I have learnt in class

MY SECOND OPTION: Reasons to select this as my second option: • Cementing my skill-set in the practising and mastering phylogenetics analysis. • The project shows a direct applicability in helping to study, identify and come up with effective strategies in conservation of the studied species, if any identified to be potentially distinct and even potentially threatened to be extinct. The success of this project will be useful to other upcoming related studies (reproducibility) involving conservation of wildlife species, which is one of important touristic and economic factors.

Third Choice

Reasons

  1. Apply phylogenetics skills learned during coursework and gain hands-on skills in phylogenetics analysis
  2. Curiosity in exploring phylogenetics and it's application in Conservationional Biology
