Thread chat css #18

I fixed the color of the thread chat box and button a la issue #12 ! Also, the css to change the color of the main chat placeholder didn't work in my Slack app, so I added one line to the #msg_input section to get that showing properly, at least for me.

I've only been able to test the changes locally, so please let me know if anything doesn't look right.
