Great Work, Syphus! <3 I wish you could implement the feature "perfect loop generator" Often it´s hard to do a good loop for lead/chord/bass samples. Quite simple algorithm as far as I can recall. Done by Heatbeat & later by the Twins/trsi in the golden amiga era. http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=16517 (it´s included here) I used this nice trick in many of my later mods of this era.

Basically it´s like this: take the sample, make a fade in, reverse the sample and mix it to the infaded sample. Would be awesome :D

Thanks virgill! Cool, I've SAM installed somewhere so I'll check this out later. Is it different to Protracker's crossfade function? In EDIT OP., the X-FADE option seems to do the same thing on bass/pad samples with a small fade-in... But if SAM does it differently then maybe I can replicate that with some SoX options in the AmigaPal backend!
