Block found but nothing received #90

Hello, I'm new to cryptocurrency, so please excuse me if I have a lot of flaws in the way I mine electroneum or if the solution to my problem is simple.

I've been mining electroneum for the past three days using Electroneum Pool Miner V1.1 BETA and am storing the mined electorneum using the public address I received upon generating my paper wallet. I'm mining with the low low hash rate of 30 - 40 hashes per second and have managed to make 0.86 ETN on my pending balance in the previous two days (I'm still trying to teach myself about crypto so huge profit is still not one of main concerns), however the past two blocks that have been found have not increased my balance at all, even though I have been farming from my laptop for hours and hours.

Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

30-40H/s is just, not to be disrespectful, useless. I mine from a laptop but I get around 700-800H/s with CPU+GPU. If you're going to mine with that hash rate its better to stop, the only thing you're going to achieve is a burnt laptop. But try another low-fee pool, around 0.1-0.5% fee.
