The window disappears before login information can be input on some wifi networks #9

Been having a problem with one network where the captive portal manager will open a login window and on the redirect will suddenly close. It might be a peculiarity on this wifi network as it does not occur on others.

I did not have the same problem on freya and has only occurred since I upgraded to loki.

I have the same bug here. But it actually happens after some reconnects. The first three times I connected to the specific access point, the captive portal was shown. There is no way to reset it, I have to go to the captive portal IP adress manually

Could it be that the load is failing and it's triggering this line?http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~elementary-apps/capnet-assist/trunk/view/head:/src/CaptiveLogin.vala#L235

Alternatively, if you know how to build and install (the instructions are in the HACKING and INSTALL files in the source distribution) this [1] branch, it might fix your issue. I will try and get it merged sometime in the next month or so, as I have quite a few things queued up for my little time :(
