There are a few exceptions such as the special character ".notdef". The glyph names "twocents", "a1", and "_" are all valid, while "2cents" and ".twocents" are not.

I guess I need to do this: https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/roll-your-own-glyph-data

but it is a huge pain that this will not work if someone else tries to build the file.
