So there are two folders client and server. The Frontend code will be in client and Backend code in server. The docs folder is for the Frontend Design, we had used the Adobe XD for that.

The Frontend client is bootstrapped with Create React App

Please have these installed on your machine:

If you are working in Yarn then:

We are using two seperate folders for Frontend and Backend so you have to run both the folders separetaly on your local-machine:

Install dependencies inside of both folders by using:

npm install || yarn

Start the client by going inside the client folder:

npm start || yarn start

Similar with server folder also

Runs the app in the development mode. Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in browser.

Mentor is an Education platform, in this project we will try to implement the basic functions of videocall and chat platform. We will also implement the designing part and try to create a wonderfull UI/UX designs. There are always many things to learn from a project. Our project helps you to grow overall in the field of Full-stack Development. As we all know their is always demand of Full-stack Developer in this recent time as we all are working remotely and we are connected with all this different technologies, which we are using for building this website. In this website we will try to teach you every things which are possible by us and guide you to become a Full-stack developer. We will also try some cool technologies for animating our website.

Apart from this we will implement the cloud computing and also guide you in the direction of cloud computing.

Why to contibute in mentor ?

You will learn the MERN technologies, if you don't know MERN stands for MangoDB, Express JS, React JS, Node JS.:boom::boom:
We will work on the new React concept the React-hooks and React Context-API.
Step by Step we will build the complicated parts. We will implement the Video calling:computer: functionality like Zoom or Google meet, we will implement the Chat:speech_balloon: functionality like Slack or WhatsApp.
We will animate the frontend using librarys like Three Js or Anime Js.
We will implements different Css preprocessors like Sass and also libraries like Bootstrap, Material UI
If possible we will use the state management library like Redux.
If time permits we will also work on Mobile development using the React-Native which is trending right now.
We will try to use the webpack and babel for the build of our website and teach to deploy the website on Heroku and Netlify.
