This one is a little weird to describe, sorry if this is unclear.
I played in a 5-player lobby, with 3 remote players (one of whom was hosting), myself, and one player on my LAN. At the end of the first section, every single time, the other player on my LAN would be able to continue, but my client wouldn't load the next stage. It was as if the next route wasn't selected at all: the "Next Stage" text wouldn't appear, the red arrows blocking one path wouldn't appear, and eventually I'd run into an invisible wall in a blue void.
This doesn't happen if the other player on my LAN leaves the lobby.
This still occurs even if a fixed course (e.g. Goal A 2SP) is selected, I guess it still has to go through the "selection" step anyway.
