Dubs for gear upgrade and AOE mechanic #23

A suggestion for you guys.

If a fighter gets 0 for the last number of post ID, his gear gets upgraded to deal +20% more damage.

This effect persists on death.

Also, it would be cool if the beast would do AoE damage and kill a few posters if someone get less than 05 roll (10 on enrage)

Also, seeing that warlocks and knights obviously have different armor sets, it would be cool if the numbers 11 and 22 would be different for each class as a prerequisite for dying. Numbers could increase by 1 in case of armor upgrade roll.

P.S. sorry if I needed to post in a different place, the suggestion topic is about server performance now so I figured out a new topic would be fine.

The suggestion of having a buff applied for x 1.2 damage every time it occurs until death for rolling a 0 (1.58% change) is a good idea. However, I believe the goal is to focus more on class related specialization and focus on role playing. I'd have to see how entomb feels about the additional buff. I can assure that if the buff was added, the beast would probably get a flat health buff to accomodate.

Currently, your armor / weapon setup has no influence on your damage output. It serves as a visual indicator of your character, or otherwise makes your participation more unique/notable.

This is a nice sugestion, and the AEO damage too, but it would be hard to predict just by looking at post numbers, and i dont want people to be entirely dependent on alt-tabing the script page to check wtf is happening.

i might use an incremental buff mechanic for another class as suggested on #15 but right now i have no time to introduce another class before this ones are fully balanced (as you might notice, a well played DK does 10x more damage, if healers cooperate and don't revive him).

I'm also thinking about an item system, where you can buy/equip items that would add special effects based on luck but this is just an idea in study, and /b/ has a limitation o the email field (it does nothing....) that could be used for this.

any feedback on this would be cool ;)
