Validate the settings for the repository

I think I've set up the settings for the repository to align with our other repositories. However, it would be great if someone could double check. I've removed myself as admin, so please fix if you run into any mistakes

Nice 💪 I went over the settings and adjusted some of them to align with other repositories. I also added branch protection rules to the main branch with the same rules as hearing test.
