Shameless self-promotion of my small web extension localization module… :smile:

It basically does the same (even uses the same basic attribute), but has some more advanced features like translating attributes or using sub-elements as parameters in the localization…

Regarding:

So far, I have not come across a situation that couldn't be handled (or made to be handled) by the code. Let me know of such instances and I will update the code accordingly.

The last feature solves the Check out $LINK$ by $AUTHOR$! feature with two links for each replacement. While you could possibly also solve it with many, many extra entries in your messages.json, but then translators have to split the message into parts in their head and have no real idea whether, what they write, is in the right order or so.
