The initial breakdown of user segments (high-level classifications of users) we came up with:
We have also come up with some more conventional personas. Instead of defining a specific category/type of user, these are example users of the platform that we've given names and various attributes to evaluate the user experience through. At this point, we've only developed these personas for the player user segment (this is where they're most useful - we may not really need them in other segments, at least initially). Screenshots from our UX Design Figjam document (where our segments and personas are currently authoritatively held) are below. You may notice some similarities to current users, but the intention here is purely as a thinking tool, and is not intended to actually reflect the thoughts/behaviors/etc of any given real individual. :slightly_smiling_face:
Particularly relevant to addressing the needs and desires of different types of players is the HEXAD gamification design model: https://www.gamified.uk/user-types/
Who are our users/what different classes of users do we have?
