cutting more than 30cm / 12" on a cameo 5

This works beautifully on a Cameo 5. The only flaw I found so far is the cutting length of the Cameo 5. If I select no mat (or 12x24 inch), my image will still be cut off at ~30cm / 12 inch. I checked for the definitions here, but they don't seem to be too far off (the device can go up to 4800mm, but that shouldn't matter for my problem).

Sadly, I had missed the line after the comment and needed to retract part of my assumption, so this is probably not the source of the problem.
