A few things that could maybe pretty it up a little and improve the UX/UI -
[ ] add cursor: pointer to the button CSS so users know it is clickable
[ ] add a hover state for the button - eg. the button's background color changes on hover, again to provide feedback to the user that this element is something to interact with. 'As a user I want to see the button visibly change when I hover so that I know it is clickable' <- how you could write a user story for this.
[ ] add some height and padding to the input field
[ ] increase font-size of input field text
[ ] reduce the width of the input field
[ ] Add placeholder text to the input field to describe the call to action
