Material You Theme Turns Black #2033

Duplicate of both #1699 and #1976

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Set up the theme in RiMusic as Material You
  2. Change the wallpaper of the phone to anything
  3. Go back into RiMusic

Expected behavior

The app should automatically update to the new wallpaper using the Material You colors. Screenshot_20240525-223247_RiMusic (2)

Actual behavior

The theme acts like pure black theme except for accent colors on text and buttons which still use the Material You colors. Screenshot_20240525-223233_RiMusic (1)

Additional information

This seems to also happen in other scenarios like changing certain ui options but I do not know all of them.
