Great exercise but students should be free to do it on Excel too. Easy exercise to ask for a hand-in

I didn't try it in Excel, but think it's a good idea as alot of students are more comfortable with Excel than R. R bit was good, but I wasted way too much time trying to optimize it. Good learning experience though.
