Spell checker is not working #6

Dear developers,

I think the spell checker is broken as the terminal prints the following startup messages on my German Ubuntu installation.

flatpak run org.kde.kate
sonnet.plugins.hunspell: Unable to find dictionary for "de_DE" in path "/usr/share/runtime/locale/de/share/de/hunspell/de_DE"

and all German words were underlined as incorrect. Also when I went into the preferences, I got the following messages on the terminal

sonnet.plugins.hunspell: Unable to find dictionary for "de_DE" in path "/usr/share/runtime/locale/de/share/de/hunspell/de_DE"
sonnet.core: Missing trigrams for languages: QSet("en_CA", "en_GB", "en_BS", "en_GH", "en_ZW", "en_ZA", "de_AT", "en_IE", "en_AU", "en_IN", "en_JM", "en_BZ", "en_NZ", "de_CH", "en_TT", "en_NA", "en_PH", "en_MW")

What's the output of flatpak config?

On my end, only English spellchecking is available, besides also having Portuguese set as well:

languages: en;pt (default: en)
extra-languages: *unset*
