Design new booth kit #16717

Goal

User story
As a conference attendee, visiting the Fleet booth,
I want my experience to be representative of Fleet's brand values of openness, clarity, and positivity.

How

Create an updated booth kit that is appropriate for all buying situations. To start with, this will include:

Artwork

Artwork and booth kit concepts are referenced in this Figma doc. Note that these layouts are not print-ready. Follow the individual links within the Figma document to access print-ready artwork.

Adding in to add more detail.

Booth and back ground image should be generic Fleet inoffensive to any buying situation. For each of the 4 buying situation we will want: Table toppers One sheeters Some light swag content (e.g. stickers)

Hey, @mike-j-thomas what is timing looking like on this? We have a couple events coming up in 2 weeks and might be running out of time to get these new kits there. Need to know if we're planning those events without the new gear.

Budget for these are going through Demand so just adding a note to tag me when we have a number and I'll approve it. JD and I have discussed timing and expected costs for these.

Hey @spokanemac, @Drew-P-drawers, and @3KindsofFish, from what I remember, JD had the contact for a new booth kit. How long do they need to create this once we get them the design? Is having this at RSA even possible?

@Sampfluger88 Booth is provided for RSA. See RSA Issue for design. We will need this for PSU MacAdmins. Lead time is 3 weeks to be safe.

Unless we wanted the booth kit for something at the event afterRSA. In that case we'd be right up against it to get it on time, but JD is right we (don't have to / aren't allowed to) use the booth kit on the floor for RSA.

@Sampfluger88 @mike-j-thomas Bubbling this one up to the top. I need to receive the replacement booth kit by July 5, with the holiday, it'd be best to order this no later than Wed, June 12, preferably Mon, June 10.

@mike-j-thomas One table-topper with MDM should suffice, but they aren't expensive if you have more messaging.

  • TODO: New tablecloth with smaller logo - Contacted printer and asked for a template.

@mike-j-thomas This seems wasteful. Also, people standing in front of the table will further obscure the logo. If we move forward with this, the cloth should be dark—white gets dirty very quickly. https://www.tradeshow-stuff.com/3-sided-Table-Cover-p/tss-68-3s-fcl.htm

  • [ ] TODO: Lighting. @spokanemac, what is the current light rig? Does it have a range of color settings? If using lights, they need to be white lights so as not to affect the color of the white banner.

Color attracts, but yes, these we can set to white.

  • [ ] TODO: Glass marble bowl. This one if possible, @Drew-P-drawers

Glass is hard to pack and travel with. Can we find a polycarbonate alternative?

I couldn't find polycarbonate, but thick acrylic and a slightly varied pack of 3 might work @spokanemac :

Thanks, guys. Yep, the acrylic is good. @spokanemac, the tablecloth needs to be white with the logo balanced correctly within the space. So we'll put their new water and stain-resistant material to the test.

Please order two. We have Fleeties that love to spill their drinks and food on the table, despite my requests to keep food and drinks off the table.
