For retargeting on ads, we can set on-site events and customize the parameters we'd like in Google Analytics using audiences.
Google Analytics is the best way to segment our users into psychological stages for retargeting because it is the platform that we're currently using to analyze site traffic. We can configure custom events to trigger on the website that can make these audiences more reliable. Instead of just tracking page locations, we can bucket users by specific actions they take on the website.
I recommend using on-site events so that we can align the psychological stages with whatever tool we decide to segment audiences for email.
