Hi @kernux! Apologies for the troubles you are running into. At this time MySQL version 8.0 is the only officially supported database.
You might be able to find other users who have run into this issue and found remedies in the osquery slack channel. You can find a link to join on their front page.
Since this isn't a bug related to Fleet I'm going to close this ticket out, but please feel free to open a new ticket if you are having issues with Fleet.
