@ddribeiro is it intentional that we're not recording customer-preston
calls?
If not, can you please bring this up on the next call? What are their client's use cases? And what will this experience look like in the customer-preston
UI?
As an MSP using Fleet to manage client devices, I want to use labels to target specific hosts that OS update enforcement should apply to.
Currently, when I enable OS update enforcement for a team in Fleet, it applies to all hosts in that team. With #20805, I would be able to exclude certain hosts from OS update enforcement if they have a specified label. There isn't a way for me to
Similar to #20805, a solution would be to add inclusions by label for OS updates. Instead of excluding hosts from OS update enforcement if they have a label, all hosts on a team would be excluded unless they have a given label.
An MSP building on the Fleet API would be able to apply labels to hosts that correspond to device configurations their product. Their app logic is set up so they would add labels to the OS update enforcement and omit labels/configurations that should not have OS update enfacement.
It is important to note that for this workflow Include ANY is the required logic.

@pintomi1989 just following to say that I don't think we can move this request forward until we understand what this experience will look like in the preston UI.
Can you please ask them to show us on the next call?

@pintomi1989 just giving you another ping! Can you please ask preston to show us what they're planning on building, on top of this Fleet feature, in the preston UI on the next call?
