Page in docs for MDM features #8799

UPDATE: This issue tracks creating the doc page where docs for MDM features will live. The docs for renewing certs will be addressed separately as part of the APNs and ABM stories here:

These docs for renewing will live on the Mobile device management page here: https://fleetdm.com/docs/using-fleet/mobile-device-management

(noahtalerman 2022-01-23)

Problem

A valid Apple Push Notifications server (APNs) certificate is required to update macOS settings and push commands to hosts (MDM features).

A valid Apple Business Manager (ABM) server token is required to automatically enroll new macOS hosts to Fleet.

APNs certificates and ABM server tokens expire after 1 year. If either expires, MDM features are unusable.

Goal

As a Fleet admin, I want to know how to renew my APNs certificate and ABM server token so that I can use MDM features.

Closing this issue because it now tracks creating the doc page where these docs will live: https://fleetdm.com/docs/using-fleet/mobile-device-management

The docs for renewing will be addressed separately as part of the APNs and ABM stories here:
