Show current zoom level in the top bar #1181

What I basically mean is something like this:

Benefits

  1. Easily see the current zoom level.
  2. Get back to 100% zoom level by clicking on it.

The problem I use the app hiding grids and borders. Just a white page with infinite area. And I use the app for hours everyday for note taking. One annoying thing is that I have to often open a menu to see the current zoom level and to reset it to 100%.

I am sceptical about cluttering the top bar with additional UI.

I think implementing something like you suggested in #1180 would also improve your use-case, no?

Yes, It would be very useful and reduce the necessity of the feature described in this issue.

However, I think the ability to always see zoom level directly would be a nice one. Maybe it can be shown only when document layout is infinite and zoom level is not 100% ?
