These changes are good.
We should still factor out the copyright page since it needs much more flexibility than we can offer in a style file. What standard should an Icelandic thesis record follow? Everywhere else, publishers stopped including a library of congress record because they needed to include it in different formats, e.g., a British and a German one.
My suggestion would be to have two different formats, one for print where only the Icelandic bibliography is included and another for e-print where only the basic information is included (Title, Author, ID, copyright, ISBN, and institution/department). Unless we can convince them to give up in printed copies?
It is worthy to note that there will be only two printed copies available (usually) but they should look good on a shelf just for the university reputation(?).
I realized that these changes could be better.
The problem is that in DCS, the master thesis can have two authors. But our solution only accepts a single author. M.Sc. candidates need no ORCID.
A Master Thesis will not have any printed copy submitted to the library. The orcid link could be more useful in the printed version since the icon is the hyperlink.
The orcidlink package documentation recommends a \, space instead of a \ space inside the author command.

The\, space seem a little short when used with hyperlink boxes but otherwise fine.

This begs the question if the template should be split up into M.Sc. and Ph.D. versions since only the latter is printed.
After discussing with Hákon, I propose the following changes to integrate the ORCID into the thesis.
