Maybe RFV is not conservative in different soil types. Maybe RFV is not consistence in the presence of water stress.

Soil parameter xf can be the tool to vary RFV in different layers. But first, some evidence is necessary to verify that the RFV does change over time and depths. This needs to go back the raw data and do the change point analysis.
