Guide

We prefer that Supplementary Materials be kept to no more than 25 pages. Consider whether some details or documentation might be better archived in the APSR Dataverse for your article or letter. Consult your Conditional Acceptance letter or email apsr@apsanet.org, if you are unsure about what should be included in Supplementary Materials.

  • The file should be no larger than 15 MB.
  • While pdf is the most common format, CUP can host the following file formats: pdf, doc/docx, xls/xlsx, ppt/pptx, jpeg, tiff, png, zip, mp3, mp4, AAC, AIFF, or WAV. All video and audio files should include title and caption explaining their function.
  • Please upload your Supplementary Materials online. It should be labeled in such away that it is clear that they are Supplementary Materials to the main article and to what article the files belong.
  • Supplementary materials are not edited or typeset, and are published in the format they are supplied by the authors. They cannot be updated after publication, so please take care when submitting them that they are complete and accurate.
  • Please consider including in the file a title page for the Supplementary Materials you submit.
